All foot massage is beneficial, but reflexology provides a specific method of working on the feet to balance health and wellbeing in the whole body.
This course consists of half a day theory and three days to learn the routine and practice technique.
Case studies are required and a final assessment is undertaken to assess routine and understanding of the underpinning knowledge.
As part of your development you will receive a Reflexology treatment from your tutor, so that you can feel for yourself what the client experience should be.
The course is accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists and will earn you 33 CPD points.
Reflexology is based on the principle that the feet are a map of the entire body and that by stimulating certain points you can treat the body.

You will learn the routine required to cover the whole body on the feet safely and how to make it enjoyable for your client.

All aspects of required health & safety are covered, as are hygiene and professional conduct.

You will also be required to complete a total of 20 hours of case studies for this course before undertaking the final assessment.

All of our courses are accredited with The Guild of Holistic Therapists, and our tutors are on the Guild of Lecturers Register. All courses, with the exception of Hopi Candling, require a final assessment, which is arranged to suit you. If you feel at any point after the training, that you require extra tuition, or just some time to have your tutor oversee your therapy provision, two 2 hour blocks are available to you, at no extra cost.
Diploma in Swedish Massage

Massage can be used on all sorts of people in a wide variety of settings and Swedish massage proves to be a fantastic treatment for everything from relaxation to shortening recovery time following muscle strains.
This course consists of half a day theory and two days to learn the routine and practice technique.
As part of your development you will receive a Full Body Swedish Massage from your tutor, so that you can feel for yourself what the client experience should be.
Case studies are required and a final assessment is undertaken to assess routine and understanding of the underpinning knowledge. The course is accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists and will earn you 21 CPD points.
You will learn a routine that will cover back, neck and shoulders, legs, arms, and chest. All the techniques that define Swedish Massage are practiced until you feel confident. These include effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, and frictions.

All aspects of required health & safety are covered, as are hygiene and professional conduct.

You will also be required to complete a total of 10 hours of case studies for this course before undertaking the final assessment.

Indian Head Massage is a complete treatment that is based on traditional Indian techniques working on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It revitalises the whole body and mind giving a feeling of peace and overall wellbeing.

Fast becoming a popular therapy in the West Hopi can be used for a wide variety of symptoms, not only those associated with the ear. Hopi induces a relaxed state which helps the body to be better equipped to fight imbalances.
This course consists of a day covering theory and practical to learn the use of Hopi candles, a facial massage routine and practice technique until confident. The course is accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists and will earn you 6 CPD points.
You will learn to safely use Hopi candles and how to interpret the results and advise on future treatments.
There is also a facial massage routine included in the course that covers the face and neck. Techniques such as effleurage, light petrissage, tapotement, and frictions will be taught to help provide a relaxing and effective treatment following the candling.

Aromatherapy is a wonderful, nourishing experience and a powerful therapeutic treatment which combines the essential oils of plants with massage.
This course consists of three and a half days to learn theory, the routine and to practice technique.
As part of your development you will receive a Full Bory Aromatherapy Massage from your tutor, so that you can feel for yourself what the client experience should be.
Case studies are required and a further half day for final assessment is undertaken to assess routine and understanding of the underpinning knowledge. The course is accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists and will earn you 36 CPD points.
You will discover a range of essential oils that can be used individually in base oils or blended to create wonderful synergies for massaging.

Reiki is simply a wonderful healing energy that exists within us all. Attuning to Reiki is being shown how to become aware of this energy and learning how it can be beneficial on many levels.
This course consists of 3 levels, each of which is completed when you feel ready to do it. You can do one or all levels with Serenity. We're happy to help you move through your learning even if it began somewhere else.

Anatomy and Physiology is a great starting point to help you move into the field of Holistic Therapies. Working so closely with the body it's important to understand how it works. An A&P Diploma is required for Reflexology, Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy.
This course is a home-study course. Each module is sent by email with the option of printed copies available for a supplement. The course is accredited by the Guild of Holistic Therapists and will earn you 40 CPD Points.
This course will guide you through the 13 body systems giving you a complete understanding of the body's structure and how it functions.
Each module has a set of questions for you to answer and return to your tutor for marking. You can learn at your own pace. There really is no hurry, no deadlines to meet. Go as quickly or as steadily as you like.

Modules include:
Cells & Tissues, Skin, Bones & Joints, Muscular System, Nervous System, Endocrine System, Sight, Sound & Smell, Digestive System, Respiratory System, Circulatory System, Lymphatic System, Reproductive System and Excretory System.
